UEDCL is recruiting an ICT Internal Auditor Officer at its head office on Nakasero Road to carry out risk-based ICT audits, including reviews of systems, databases, networks, cybersecurity, access management and business-continuity controls, and to follow up on agreed action plans.

• Plan and execute risk-based ICT audits under the annual plan and professional standards.
• Assess ICT governance, risk and security frameworks including COBIT and ISO 27001.
• Review infrastructure, systems, applications, databases, networks and technology processes.
• Assess cybersecurity, access management, data protection, availability, change management, IT operations, disaster recovery, business continuity and information-integrity controls.
• Prepare audit working papers with procedures, evidence, analyses and conclusions.
• Support audit reports with findings and practical recommendations.
• Follow up management action plans and validate corrective action.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of audit evidence.
• Monitor emerging ICT risks, cybersecurity threats, technology and regulation.
• Provide ICT risk-assessment and audit-program input.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related.
• Relevant CISA, Certified in Cybersecurity, CISSP, CRISC or equivalent certification/progress is advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years’ ICT audit, IT, cybersecurity, IT risk or information-systems-controls experience.
• ICT audit methodology, COBIT/ISO 27001/NIST, cybersecurity, IT general controls, application controls, databases, operating systems, networks/cloud and data analytics knowledge.
