Disclaimer
What we do and do not stand behind, stated plainly.
1. We do not guarantee employment
In short No job board can, and any that says otherwise is lying.
NextRoleHub publishes vacancies. We do not recruit, we do not select, and we cannot influence whether you are shortlisted or hired. Nothing on this site is a promise of employment, an interview, or a response to your application.
Many Ugandan employers contact only shortlisted candidates. Not hearing back is common and is not a reflection of the site or of your application.
2. Verify before you commit money
In short Check the employer yourself before spending on transport or documents.
We verify each advert against the employer’s own channels before publishing, but you should still satisfy yourself that a role and an employer are genuine before spending money on transport, printing, certification or anything else.
If anything about a process asks you to pay, stop. No legitimate recruitment in Uganda requires a candidate to pay a fee at any stage.
Warning. Never pay to apply. Not for an application, not for processing, not for an interview, not for shortlisting, and not for a promised placement.
3. Deadlines and details come from the employer
In short We publish what the employer stated, and close roles on time.
Closing dates, requirements and application routes are as supplied by the employer. Listings close automatically at 11:59pm on the stated deadline and are then marked as closed rather than left looking open.
An employer may still extend, amend or cancel a recruitment after publication. Where we learn of a change we update the listing.
4. Career guidance is general, not advice
In short Our guides are information, not legal or professional advice.
Our career guides describe general Ugandan recruitment practice, researched at the time of writing and dated on the page. They are not legal, financial or professional advice and should not be relied on as such for your specific situation.
Practice changes. We update guides when it does, and every guide shows when it was last reviewed.
5. External links
In short We link to employers and official bodies. We do not control them.
Where we link to an employer, a government notice or another organisation, we do not control that content and are not responsible for it. A link is not an endorsement.
Questions about any of this?
Data requests, corrections and reports of a suspicious listing all reach the same team, and we answer every one.
NextRoleHub never asks you to pay to apply. Report anyone who does.
