Design, deliver and evaluate employee training and capability-development programmes; define ways to measure training effectiveness and return on investment. Develop training strategies and plans aligned to business objectives; capture, retain, share and periodically validate knowledge to improve staff competence, operational performance and customer experience.

• Lead, coach, mentor and develop the training team, with accountability for performance.
• Maintain training records, track learning outcomes and performance against targets, and prepare management reporting and insights.
• Prepare, manage and monitor the departmental training budget and deliver programmes cost-effectively.
• Coordinate with functional and departmental managers to understand development needs and communicate training objectives, purpose and results.
• Keep staff current on MTN products and services by assessing knowledge gaps and devising responses; support customer-management activities such as regional customer forums and Customer Service Week.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences or a related course.
• Three years of relevant experience.
• Experience with knowledge-management software, web technology and knowledge-sharing practices.
• Ability to drive a manual-transmission vehicle and a valid driver’s licence for travel between sites and offsite venues.
• The advert lists relevant certification, accreditation or membership with an engineering professional body as an added advantage.
