The role keeps Wave’s Kampala and upcountry offices running by handling people operations, administration and workplace services. It supports onboarding, employee records, office operations, team coordination, travel, events, budgets and procurement.

• Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures and administrative systems for Wave Uganda.
• Onboard staff and manage employee records, benefits, performance and employment changes.
• Process work permits when required and serve as a contact for people-related matters.
• Oversee office operations, safety, front desk, utilities, security, supplies, equipment and inventory.
• Coordinate office-space arrangements, domestic/international travel and logistics.
• Supervise, mentor and train office staff and manage office budgets and procurement.
• Plan corporate events and prepare presentations and management reports.

• Bachelor’s degree or professional training in Business Administration, HR or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced international company.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably BambooHR or Workday.
• Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office and strong organisational/prioritisation skills.
• Uganda work authorisation is required.
