The Retail Manager leads M-KOPA Uganda’s multi-channel retail operations across service centres, depots, outlets and repair centres. The role owns retail standards, stock and returns, partner performance, operational costs, compliance and people leadership.

• Lead daily operations across service centres, stocking points, depots, partner/telco outlets and repair centres.
• Govern stock operations across channels, including device ageing, rebalancing and loss prevention.
• Manage retail-network changes such as site openings, relocations and closures.
• Ensure retail systems, logs, trackers and dashboards are configured and used consistently.
• Set operating standards and manage third-party, depot and landlord relationships.
• Coordinate device swaps, repairs and servicing with Care Centre, Repair, QA and Training teams.
• Resolve escalations and coordinate with cross-functional teams on operational blockers.
• Manage budgets, cost reporting, environmental-health-and-safety and security compliance.
• Coach and manage retail teams and serve as HR business-partner contact for the function.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations/Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Extensive experience leading operations and teams across multiple sites.
• Strong retail, inventory and returns-management background; partner-contract experience is desirable.
• Ability to interpret dashboards, monitor KPIs and make cost-effective decisions.
