CFAO Mobility is the vehicles and mobility division of the CFAO Group, which operates in 40 African countries and is part of Toyota Tsusho Corporation. Its offer covers vehicles, two-wheelers, coaches, lorries, handling equipment, tyres and spare parts.

In Uganda it trades as CFAO Motors Uganda, the manufacturer-authorised distributor of new Toyota vehicles and genuine parts.

The Service Advisor ensures customer satisfaction by identifying customer needs and communicating them to the workshop team, while meeting service and collection targets.

Customer and Workshop

• Ensure speedy maintenance and repair through clear needs identification and accurate job cards.
• Use the service appointment system to maximise facility and manpower capacity and reduce no-shows.
• Give clear cost estimates, monitor work progress and update customers on extra work, cost changes and completion times.
• Make sure vehicles are clean and ready by the promised time.

Targets and Collections

• Achieve set targets for the service budget.
• Collect outstanding customer debts and cash on time.
• Promote the service and parts departments to all customers.

Complaints and Invoices

• Explain customer invoices: parts, labour, lubricants and consumables.
• Address, resolve and follow up customer complaints quickly.
• Keep strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Education and Experience

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related course.
• At least two years’ experience in the automotive industry.
• Qualified driver with strong competence in manual and automatic transmission.
• A valid driver’s licence.

Technical Skills
