VVOB – education for development is an international organisation with more than 40 years of experience strengthening education systems in Africa, Asia and South America in partnership with ministries of education, with a focus on the professional development of teachers and school leaders. VVOB is hiring one Education Advisor (World of Work Linkages) for its YES Green programme (2027–2031). The contract is fixed-term and linked to project funding, for up to five years with possible extension, starting from January 2027 subject to donor funding approval.

• Turn VVOB relationships with world-of-work support organisations into high-quality education and capacity-development processes.
• Advise and support world-of-work organisations in YES Green education-change processes and adapt support to partner needs.
• Co-create teaching and learning materials with world-of-work actors and teachers, aligned with green-agrifood skills needs and YES Green solutions.
• Map high-potential green-agrifood support organisations and draft partnership strategies.
• Engage employers, mentors and role models to contribute to career talks, project-based learning and work-based learning.
• Coordinate practical capacity-development trajectories for role models, mentors and work-based-learning host enterprises.
• Contribute to YES Green planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and share research/learning with partners.

• Master’s degree in education, agriculture, agribusiness, development studies, human sciences or another relevant field, or equivalent proven professional experience.
• At least three years of relevant experience at the intersection of education/skills development and youth economic opportunities, with experience engaging agrifood or other world-of-work actors.
• Experience working collaboratively with education stakeholders/world-of-work actors, designing/facilitating partner capacity development, and co-creating educational/training content.
• Excellent written/verbal English; Microsoft Office and digital collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge/practical experience with career talks, project-based learning/work-based learning, green skills, sustainable agrifood systems, youth employment/entrepreneurship, lower-secondary/TVET, MERL reporting.

VVOB lists a gross monthly salary of €1,265–€2,097 and a remuneration package that includes a base salary and benefits, on a fixed-term contract linked to project funding.
