• Advise on agricultural-input procurement, seed verification and quality control; review partner/vendor reports and support transparent procurement and contract management.
• Represent RTV with governments, research bodies, NGOs and private sector; build regional knowledge-sharing platforms and value-chain partnerships.
• Ensure cross-country agriculture data collection/analysis, report progress and lessons, and contribute to learning briefs, case studies and technical documentation.
• Supervise country agriculture leads, develop staff capability and performance, and foster learning, innovation and accountability.

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Rural Development or related field; postgraduate/Master's degree in one of these areas is required.
• At least 5 years in agricultural program leadership, including at least 1 year in senior management.
• Strong knowledge of smallholder farming systems, soil health, pest/disease management and climate-smart agriculture; experience across multiple countries/regions.
• Experience with implementing partners, government and private-sector stakeholders; project planning, budgeting and reporting; strong communication, facilitation and negotiation.
• Willingness to travel frequently across countries of operation; integrity, professionalism and alignment with RTV mission/values. Listing indicates 50–60% regional/cross-country travel.
