About the Role

Drive safe, dignified and high-quality care across clinics, pharmacies and independent providers. Connect regulatory requirements, local conditions, audits and user feedback to improve accountability across the provider network.

Key Responsibilities

• Update quality assurance procedures to reflect healthcare regulations and platform standards.
• Enforce service level agreements with clinical franchisors and manage governance records and breaches.
• Contract, vet, onboard and manage independent health providers.
• Establish and coordinate an independent auditor pool for provider certification and audits.
• Assess training gaps and provide targeted on-the-job training for clinics and community pharmacies.
• Evaluate operational workflows and digital systems for quality risks.
• Analyse beneficiary feedback, user ratings, audit results and performance trends.
• Maintain quality reports, compliance records and risk logs for leadership.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Five to seven years of health-sector quality improvement or quality assurance experience, preferably with SRHR exposure.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and hands-on clinical quality audit experience.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder QA operations, SLAs, provider networks and auditor frameworks.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Current residence in Uganda, with experience working in Mukono or Jinja as specified in the advert.

Salary and Benefits

Gross monthly pay is UGX 6,928,451 to UGX 8,660,564, depending on experience and internal alignment. Benefits include location-based allowances, flexible remote or hybrid arrangements, a EUR 500 annual development budget and unlimited holiday coordinated with the team.
