One Acre Fund supplies smallholder farmers with farm supplies, tree seedlings, credit, agronomic training and other services, and says it serves 5.5 million farmers across nine African countries with 9,000+ staff.

Its Uganda programme, founded in 2014, serves more than 34,000 farmers and is headquartered in Jinja.

The Regional Data Coordinator runs regional data processes and field trials, and helps teams use data to improve farmer impact.

Data Collection and Tools

• Set up, deploy and manage digital survey tools (CommCare, SurveyCTO, Kobo).
• Lead efficient regional field data collection.

Analysis and Field Trials

• Clean, structure and analyse large field datasets with advanced Excel.
• Oversee regional data processes and R and D field trials, using feedback from Field Managers and back-checkers.
• Turn quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable strategies.

Capacity Building

• Train and mentor regional teams on survey design, data hygiene and data tools.
• Lead field data collection teams.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data analytics, applied mathematics, quantitative economics or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data and analytics, regional data processes or field operations.
• Strong expertise in CommCare, SurveyCTO or KoboToolbox.
• Advanced Excel and data cleaning skills.
• Experience training non-technical field staff and leading data collection teams.

Technical Skills

• Survey tools: CommCare, SurveyCTO, Kobo.
• Excel: Advanced formulas, cleaning.
• Field trials: R and D trial data.
• Quantitative analysis: Large field datasets.

Soft Skills
