About The Company
The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Project involves building and operating a buried, cross-border pipeline that carries crude oil produced from Uganda’s Lake Albert oilfields to the port of Tanga in Tanzania, where the oil is then sold on to world markets. Once topsoil and vegetation are reinstated, people and animals can cross freely anywhere along its length.
EACOP Ltd’s shareholders are TotalEnergies, the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) and CNOOC. EACOP recruits directly through its official Workday careers portal, and its adverts stress exemplary behaviour on H3SE (health, safety, security, social and environment) rules, ethics and the project code of conduct.
