About The Company
Unifi is a personal lending company built for African borrowers. It offers simple, fast loans that clients can access in a branch, online or on their phone, and it currently operates in Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania and South Africa. Its brand promise is “Boldly different. Fiercely human. Proudly African.”
What sets Unifi apart is its “touch and tech” model. Field and branch staff build real, in-person relationships with clients, while the company’s own software and data analytics teams handle fast, data-driven lending decisions behind the scenes. In Uganda, the business runs through a growing network of branches.
Unifi positions itself as one of the fastest-growing lenders on the continent. That growth depends on client acquisition teams in towns like Iganga, which is why this role carries a performance incentive on top of a basic salary.
About The Role
As a Client Growth Sales Representative in Iganga, your main job is bringing new borrowers to Unifi. Iganga is a busy trading town on the Jinja to Tororo highway, so your day will be spent in markets, shopping streets, workplaces and community gatherings, introducing Unifi’s loans and signing up interested clients. Unifi is looking for a passionate person with an outgoing personality who will not wait for customers to walk in.
You will build your own list of prospects, map where new clients can be found and keep a pipeline that you follow up week after week. You will also run product presentations, help with public events and giveaways and work with the branch team on wider acquisition campaigns. Weekly and monthly work plans and performance reports keep your progress visible, and riding skills let you reach clients beyond the town centre.
