About The Company
The Children’s Rights and Violence Prevention Fund (CRVPF) is a child-rights and social-justice regional intermediary founded in April 2015. It works as a grant-making mechanism that funds and builds the capacity of community organisations to prevent violence and sexual violence against children and young people, and to open safe, dignified work opportunities for youth.
CRVPF operates in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia through cluster partnerships, co-creating programme agendas with local organisations instead of setting them from outside. Its head office is at Block 244, Plot 5170, Diplomate Road, Muyenga, Kampala.
In 2025 CRVPF launched a Coordinated Programs Approach with Mastercard Foundation support to reach up to 150,000 young people with life skills, parenting and digital skills for safe, dignified work, alongside programmes backed by foundations such as Tides, Hilton and the White Family Fund.
About The Role
The CRVPF Finance and Accounts Officer keeps the organisation’s books accurate and donor-ready. Day to day, you will post transactions in QuickBooks Online, record pre-payments, process invoices and reimbursements, and help with monthly reconciliations. You will also prepare financial reports, balance sheets, income statements and budget forecasts, and get audit schedules and documentation ready each year.
Beyond core accounting, you will take part in procurement and monthly stock verification, maintain the organisational asset register, file vouchers and support grants management and donor financial reporting, especially for the Tides Foundation programme, the Hilton Foundation and the White Family Fund. You will flag financial risks, make occasional field visits to verify spending and respond to queries from vendors and colleagues across the organisation.
