About The Company
The East African Development Bank was set up in 1967 under the treaty of the then East African Co-operation. Its mandate is to provide finance and related support to enterprises in its member states so they contribute to social and economic development across the region.
Today EADB is owned by the governments of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, together with other development and commercial financial institutions. As an organ of the East African Community, it plays a direct role in regional integration through development finance.
The bank is headquartered in Kampala and runs country offices in the other member states. Its business development teams source and structure lending and investment deals with governments, public bodies and private companies.

Most of your time will go on clients and partners: securing new business across sectors, growing relationships with existing clients, leading contract negotiations and closing deals, and building alliances and joint ventures with banks, government agencies, NGOs and companies. You will make decisions on market entry, client targeting and resources, report market intelligence to senior management, and travel often within Uganda and the region, including visits to project sites and ministries. Extended hours may be needed to meet deadlines or client needs.
