About The Company
The TVET Council is Uganda’s national apex body for Technical and Vocational Education and Training. Set up under the TVET Act, 2025, it regulates, coordinates and quality-assures the TVET system and gives it strategic oversight.
The Council accredits training providers and programmes, licenses TVET trainers, registers artisans, craftsmen, technicians and technologists, and takes action against institutions that do not meet national standards. Its aim is a skills system that produces graduates employers actually need.
The Secretariat sits on the 4th Floor of the UVTAB Building, Plot 891 Kigobe Road, Kyambogo, Kampala. It is currently recruiting for a wide range of posts as it builds up its staff.

You will also keep the sector register of accredited providers, support trainer licensing and artisan registration, work with professional bodies on market-relevant training, and supervise Accreditation Officers. Expect regular field travel across the country.
