National Information Technology Authority (NITA-U)

The National Information Technology Authority – Uganda (NITA-U) is an autonomous government agency established under the NITA-U Act of 2009 to coordinate, promote and monitor information technology development in Uganda. NITA-U supports Uganda\'s digital transformation through e-government services, national ICT infrastructure, information security, data protection, digital connectivity and technology standards.
