Job hunting in Uganda costs money before it earns any.
A graduate in Mbarara hears about a vacancy in Kampala with four days left. The advert is a screenshot forwarded through three WhatsApp groups, the deadline is already wrong, and the “recruitment officer” wants forty thousand shillings to process the application.
That is the market we built NextRoleHub for. Not a lack of jobs, a lack of reliable information about them: which roles are real, which are still open, and which are outright fraud dressed as opportunity.

Never pay to apply.
NextRoleHub does not charge job seekers to see or apply for any vacancy, and no legitimate employer in Uganda will either. Treat any request for money as fraud, whatever it is called.

Four promises we will not quietly drop
- Free for job seekers, permanently
- No account, no subscription, no premium tier that hides the good roles. If we ever charge anyone it will be employers, not applicants.
- We never ask you to pay to apply
- Nor will any legitimate employer. If a listing on this site asks you for money, report it and we will take it down and investigate.
- Your data stays yours
- We do not sell applicant data, and we do not stand between you and the employer. Applications go directly to the organisation hiring.
- We say when we are unsure
- If a detail in an advert is ambiguous, we say so rather than filling the gap with a guess that costs you an application.
What NextRoleHub does not do
Being clear about the limits is part of being trustworthy inside them.
- We are not the employer
- We publish the advert. The hiring, the shortlisting and the decision all sit with the organisation, and your application goes directly to them.
- We do not guarantee employment
- No job board can. What we control is whether the advert in front of you is real, current and free to answer.
- We cannot promise every application gets a reply
- Many Ugandan employers only contact shortlisted candidates. Silence is common and it is not a reflection of your application.
- We do not keep expired roles looking open
- A closed listing says so. We would rather lose the traffic than have you spend transport money on a vacancy that shut last week.
Who writes what you read
Job listings are compiled by the NextRoleHub editorial team from employer sources. Career guides are researched against current Ugandan recruitment practice, including published requirements from bodies such as the Public Service Commission, and reviewed before publication. Where a guide relies on a specific notice or requirement, we say which one.

- We correct guides when practice changes rather than leaving them to age
