The i-SERVE Youth Volunteer Programme is a structured 12-month Work Readiness Program designed to give fresh graduates practical, hands-on experience in real work environments. The programme targets graduates who hold a Degree or Diploma but lack the workplace exposure that employers typically require.

Participants are placed in volunteer roles across 8 different fields, gaining practical skills, professional networks, and demonstrated work experience that significantly improves their employability after the programme ends. This is not a traditional job but a structured pathway from graduation to employment.

Participants will be placed in one of the following areas:

• Marketing and Sales
• Digital & Content Development
• Website Development
• Agriculture & Agribusiness
• Business Administration
• Environment Management
• Food Science & Technology
• Leisure and Hospitality

Required Education:

• Degree or Diploma in a relevant field

Eligibility:

• Fresh graduates (recently completed studies)

No prior work experience required. This programme is specifically designed for fresh graduates entering the workforce for the first time.

Desired Attributes (based on programme context):

• Willingness to learn and gain hands-on workplace experience
• Academic qualification (Degree or Diploma) in one of the listed fields
• Ability to commit to a 12-month volunteer placement
• Based in or able to travel to Kampala for the programme duration
