📘 About the Program

The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) is committed to fostering national content by empowering the next generation of industry leaders in Uganda’s oil and gas sector. Through this scholarship initiative, EACOP believes that financial constraints should never stand in the way of academic excellence for the nation’s brightest students.

Delivered through its tier one contractor EITS Contractors (tasked with the Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecommunication, and Security Systems scope on the EACOP project), this scholarship program is specifically designed for high-achieving students in their final year of study at Makerere University and Kyambogo University.

The program provides full tuition coverage to enable talented but financially disadvantaged students to complete their degrees and transition into careers within Uganda’s growing energy infrastructure sector.

✅ Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a Ugandan national
• Must be a continuing student entering final year (4th year) of study
• Must hold a Second Class Upper CGPA or higher from third year
• Must be enrolled in one of the eligible programmes at Makerere or Kyambogo University
• Must demonstrate genuine financial need (financially disadvantaged)
• Must be academically gifted with strong academic record

Note: Only students enrolled in these specific programmes at these institutions are eligible. Students must be entering their final (4th) year.
